In the five years I worked with Circus Couture, I was personally able to help raise tens of thousands of dollars within the hundreds of thousands raised to help children with cancer. Circus Couture is a Las Vegas charity raising money for pediatric cancer treatment and research through exciting circus, fashion and art events. I donated many works of my oil paintings to be bid on in the silent auction during the event over the years. Each year I would also create a collaborative painting with children from the clinic that would be auctioned live on stage. In the three large works shown here I used 'breath,' 'hands' and 'feet' as my themes in working with the children ~A thousand hands are needed to help the cause of providing cures and help for the next generation of feet to walk the path of our living breath. I also shared the event with my k-8 art students and they created works to be sold and raised their own funds to donate.
